Ardersier to Fort George Coastal Path

Explore the coastal village of Ardersier with this gentle, 2km walk along the coastline of the Moray Firth!

This walk can be done in either direction and makes a great day out combined with a visit to historic Fort George. The Gun Lodge Hotel in Ardersier provides refreshments all year round.

From Ardersier, pick up the shore path to Ardersier Common and Fort George. Keep an eye out for wildlife as you go - apart from seabirds and seals you might even spot the famous Moray Firth dolphins!

The path is flat and suitable for all abilities.
