Our comfortable accommodation comprises one cottage and four chalets. Cherry Cottage, built in traditional Highland style, is comfortably furnished and very spacious. Spread over two floors it is ideal for families, dogs, fishers and walkers, has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and is surrounded by a large grassy area outside. The 4 chalets nestle among the birchwood and their large south-facing windows soak up any sunshine. Birch Chalet has 3 bedrooms whereas Willow, Rowan and Aspen all have 2 bedrooms.
For walkers, whether a gentle stroll or bagging a Munro is what you are looking for, Glen Strathfarrar provides numerous choices. For fly-fishers, the many named pools and varied terrain have much to offer both the beginner and the expert. The Farrar is one of the two main tributaries of the River Beauly and provides both salmon and trout fishing.
Cyclists can enjoy the 17 miles of private road in the glen, quietly taking in the wild landscape of mountain scenery, lochs, river and ancient Caledonian pinewood. Bird-watchers may spot eagles, whooper swans, dippers or crested tits. Nature lovers can perhaps enjoy seeing red deer, badgers, otters and even feral goats in their natural habitat.
Beyond the glen, attractions include Loch Ness, Glen Affric, Cawdor Castle, and Beauly with its range of cafes and independent shops. Eat out within a mile at either The Struy Inn or The Cnoc Hotel.
