The Steading Country Inn

Through beautiful tree lined hills full of wild life and fauna, changing with every season, past loch Meiklie and the little white church next to the loch, carry on to the sign at the bottom of the road on the right. Please note our maximum party size when eating is six.

The Steading county Inn is 20.5 miles from Inverness with good travel links for the UK and further the airport is located 9 miles east of the City of Inverness just off the main A96 trunk road, it is served by local buses which depart from Inverness Bus station, approximately 5 minutes walk from the railway station.

The Steading country Inn Bed and Breakfast, offers modern, comfortable rooms with large en suites at a standard you’d expect in a hotel, whilst maintaining the ambience and personal touch of a traditional BB, (Sorry pets are not allowed in the rooms).

In the rooms you will find tea and coffee making facilities, Free Wi-Fi, digital TV.

On a cold morning enjoy your full Scottish breakfast by the Log Burning fire in the dining room.

The Pub is open from 5pm offering home cooked meals; booking in advance is advisable to save disappointment; all ingredients are locally sourced.

Our location is perfect for spotting wildlife including Deer, Red squirrel, Pine Marten, Otter, Heron plus stunning natural woodlands to wander through listening to the Owls and Woodpecker.
