Familiarisation Trip Feb 2025
In February, we welcomed eight leading Scottish DMCs for a two-day showcase of Inverness and Loch Ness.
During their visit, attendees experienced a curated selection of the area's standout attractions, activities, and accommodation—designed to inspire unforgettable client itineraries.
Day 1
Arrival at train station and transfer to AC Mariott by Grant Driving Tours.
Welcome from Visit Inverness Loch Ness and Visit Scotland and a show around the hotel.
Private transport to Glen Mhor Hotel & Uile-bheist Distillery for a private tour of the Distillery & Brewery, a buffet with an opportunity to enjoy a tasting of home craft beer.
Drinks served for you at the AC Marriott hotel with some short presentations for new products in the destination
Day 2
Breakfast at leisure at AC Marriott
Transport to Eden Court for a tour of Eden Court Theatre
Beastie Boat experience on Loch Ness with drop off at Urquhart Castle
Transport from Urquhart Castle to The Loch Ness Centre – Refreshments from local bakery and café, XOKO
Tour of The Loch Ness Centre
Transport to Achnagairn Castle and Estate for a tour and lunch from The Lunch Box Boys
Transport from Achnagairn to Kingsmills Hotel
Show around Kingsmills, followed by a whisky tasting session by Tomatin Distillery
Transport to Ness Walk for check in, followed by dinner.
Day 3
Breakfast at Ness Walk
Walking tour with Walking Tours in Scotland
Transport from Ness Walk to Culloden Battlefield
Tour of Culloden Battlefield, lunch, weapons demonstration and look around museum
Departure from Culloden to Inverness Train Station
